On Saturday, July 26, 2025, AB Gladsaxe will play its last training match before the start of the season.

A better prelude to the start of the season is not conceivable, when a real “Mose derby” against Brønshøj BK will be the fourth and final training match. The match will be played in Tingbjerg Sports Park starting at 13.00.

It is the two teams’ last friendly match before the start of the season, so it is a very important training match for both teams.

The two teams often meet in a friendly match before the start of the season. This happened both last summer and most recently at the beginning of February, when AB won 3-2 in Tingbjerg. AB’s scorers on that occasion were Adrien Koudelka, Marco Ramkilde and O’Vonte Mullings.

AB played a really good game with very fast play and good combinations, especially offensively against a good fighting Brønshøj team. The defense was not as flashy.

After Friday’s practice, head coach Joey Gudjonsson said:

” It’s good that we have the opportunity to play a training match against Brønshøj, because it’s a local derby and historically it means a lot. This means that there is more to play for. We know that Brønshøj will do everything to beat AB, because it means a lot to them.

The playing time will not be distributed equally as in the first friendly matches, and more players will get more than 45 minutes on the pitch.

For us, it’s good to look back at the last games of the season, how the players mentally came into those games. Against Brønshøj and against the upcoming teams, we have to match the intensity, and even get higher with our intensity and also the defensive duels. We must be aggressive and outreach and take advantage of it.

We will play like this tomorrow against Brønshøj and for the first tournament match against Ishøj. We have to take control of the game and be in control for as long as we can.

Then our qualities will shine through and that’s the way we win games, we know that. We won five games in a row and that’s what we have to keep in mind and work towards the same effort,” concludes Joey Gudjonsson.

The following players are in the squad for the match:
